Course Overview

Gain an in-depth understanding of pastoral theology as it relates to the goals of chaplaincy and care. This Masters's degree is taught by Cambridge Theological Federation and accredited by ARU. Throughout the course you'll be supported to: relate reflectively and reflexively to the themes and traditions of pastoral care to contemporary personal and vocational contexts develop a critical understanding of the human condition as it shapes different approaches to models of chaplaincy undertake a detailed exploration of some issues of significance for an understanding of chaplaincy in the contemporary context.

General Eligibility

The normal entry requirement for postgraduate courses at Cambridge Theological Federation (CTF) is a first- or good second-class honors degree in a relevant subject. Examples would include Ethics, Philosophy, Theology, or other related subjects.

  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
