We welcome applications from practicing with appropriate clinical experience, who would like to use music to support the health and wellbeing of patients and clients. Supported by experts, youll gain a strong foundation in the principles and practice of music therapy, underpinned by the latest research and evidence base. Our MA Music Therapy is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council, so when you graduate youll be eligible to register with the HCPC €“ a legal requirement for your future career as a practicing music therapist in the UK.
Usually a good/ 2:1 honors degree or equivalent in Music or equivalent (another degree but with a high standard of musicianship).
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
