As a Computer Games Development (Computing) student at ARU, youll study in Cambridge, home to developers including Jagex, Frontier Developments, and Ninja Theory. Learn from guest speakers and work on live briefs from companies such as Sony and Sumo Digital. Well give you the opportunity to create games both on your own and working in multi-skilled teams alongside students on our MA Computer Games Development (Art). As well as furthering your development skills, youll focus on games programming and tailor your research project so you can concentrate on developing skills in an area youre passionate about. A good honors degree (or equivalent), normally in a related subject. Applicants with professional experience are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should have experience with object orientated programming, preferably in C#, C++, or Java.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
