Study Computer Games Development (Art) at ARU and youll be joining a course that scored 100% for overall satisfaction in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2019. Youll be based in the inspiring environment of our new Compass House Games Centre, where youll have the chance to work alongside postgraduate students from our MSc Computer Games Development (Computing). Well encourage you to work in design production teams, tackling creative and technical challenges with programmers and industry professionals. Youll develop your design skills working on live briefs from companies such as Sony and Sumo Digital and learn how to create and publish successful games across a range of platforms. The East of England has 135 active games companies, while Cambridge accounts for nearly 20% of the UK computer games industry, so ARU is a great place to study and take on work placements to build connections with major games developers.
A good honors degree (or equivalent), normally in a related subject. Applicants with professional experience are also encouraged to apply.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
