Course Overview

Gain the clinical knowledge, skills, confidence, and accreditation you need to succeed as a Child and Mental Health Nurse, with our four-year degree course in Cambridge and Chelmsford. Our purpose-built nursing labs simulate many aspects of a working hospital ward. Youll use sophisticated healthcare equipment in safe and supportive small group sessions led by highly experienced staff. Youll also undertake placements in child and mental health settings. You could find yourself caring for patients in their homes, in GP surgeries, in a general childrens ward, pediatric A&E, and more.

General Eligibility

96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent). 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
