Here at ARU, you wont just learn in the classroom. Theres the chance to take economics out of the classroom, debating big ideas such as the minimum wage, capitalism, and Brexit in our popular Economics in the Pub sessions. With an eye on the future, you can also choose to take an optional placement year and add valuable work experience to your CV.

General Eligibility

All applicants must have GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above (or equivalent). 72 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent level 3, e.g. Extended Diploma (MMP) or Access course (30 levels 3 credits at merit grade are required).

Part Time Work Details

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
