There are two intakes a year for this program €“ February and September. The closing date for applications next intake is Tuesday 7th September 2021, 4 pm. See available start dates. Applications can be made using the postgraduate application form or using the online portal. The program is a blend of clinical and practice modules with real-life applications. The course requires minimal attendance and incorporates a blend of learning to meet the individual needs of students. DMU values the student experience and prides itself in the support it offers to postgraduate students. The course aims to improve your approach to patient care and enhance your employability skills.
Students must have a second class honour, lower division (2:2), a degree in pharmacy, or above, or equivalent degree qualification Registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), Pharmaceutical Council of Northern Ireland, or Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland Practising in a patient-facing role at least one day a week
If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 7 or equivalent when you start the course is essential with no component below 5.5. English language tuition, delivered by our British Council accredited Centre for English Language Learning (CELL), is available both before and during the course.
