Course Overview

The physician associate is a type of health professional whose development has been led by the Department of Health and has involved the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and Royal College of General Practitioners (RGCP), as well as the profession itself through the UK Association of Physician Associates (UKAPA). Placements take place in Chester, Wirral, and the wider Cheshire area. It may be necessary to travel to these GP placements and the use of a car, whilst not essential, is advantageous. Please note, applications are via UCAS for this course. Please see the entry requirements for more information. Applications submitted to UCAS after the 29th January 2021 are being considered by the University, but this may close at any time, so, our advice is to make sure you apply as soon as possible.
