The Investments programme from University of Birmingham will give you a strong theoretical grounding that draws inspiration from contemporary research and industry practices from across the globe. You will develop the critical, analytical and technical skills required to work as an investment specialist in global financial markets, along with soft skills such as teamwork, adaptability, leadership, time management, communication, work ethics, and cross-cultural awareness.
A good Honours degree (2:1 or higher) or postgraduate diploma from a UK university or equivalent. The degree must be in a relevant subject and/or applicants must have obtained good grades in mathematical related modules at undergraduate level.
GCE A-Level grade C or better or overseas equivalent in mathematics can be considered for meeting the mathematical module requirement. If you would like A Level (or equivalent) mathematics to be considered as part of your application, please upload evidence of these results when making an application. We can only consider these qualifications if they are submitted as part of the admissions application.
