The course here at Worcester aims to train maths teachers who are skilled, reflective, and critically evaluative. Unique opportunities to: Explore mathematical concepts by engaging with a range of mathematical activities Consider what effective learning and teaching look like in a mathematics classroom Reflect on your own learning and explore research evidence Discuss the place of mathematics in the curriculum and current issues within mathematics education Continue to develop your own subject knowledge and reflect on what it is to be €˜mathematical Engage with the Further Maths Support Programme and the Royal Institution Masterclasses Programme Develop an understanding of the post 16 mathematics landscape including the specific pedagogies and their place in the qualification framework

General Eligibility

Honours degree (normally 2:2 or higher) from a UK higher education institution or equivalent qualification, in Mathematics or a related subject. Applicants with a 3rd class degree will be considered on an individual basis.
