Course Overview

Our degree in accounting and finance aims to build your skills portfolio for a rewarding career in the field of accountancy or finance. You'll actively engage with employers and the leading professional bodies during your time at the University, as you position yourself to enter this highly influential sector. With its strong focus on contemporary issues (such as globalization, governance, and business sustainability), this degree will show you're a highly analytical, numerate, and commercially driven graduate. You'll also be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills that employers value and have the opportunity to gain 'real-world experience through the optional placement year.

Language Requirement

  • The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component

    Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) – 52 or above or CEFR B2 or above

    Cambridge First Certificate in English – Grade C or above with no skill less than D or 2

    Pearson Test of English (Academic) – An overall score of 59 or above, with not less than 51 points in any of the 4 skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing).
