In years 1 and 2 you will study the core areas of psychological science while practising your research skills in the laboratories every week. The research our academic staff carry out informs your learning. Some of these topics include: Cognitive neuroscience of language and memory Social interaction and political psychology Children's cognitive development, including literacy, tool innovation and imagination Body image and bullying Mental health and neurodiversity. In year 3 you can tailor your degree to your interests and ambitions. You can choose from a range of modules that introduce professional specialisms, such as clinical and forensic psychology, or offer the chance to study advanced topics in psychological science. You will also conduct a piece of original research under the supervision of a member of academic staff in your dissertation module.
