Course Overview

You will also learn about the philosophies and historical events that have shaped todays world. There will be opportunities to explore the questions raised by religion and philosophy from the perspective of other academic subjects, such as literature, art, politics, and film. The course also allows for creative expression, as you convey your ideas through artwork, posters, and creative writing. This course will give you a deep understanding of the relationship between religion, theology, and the wider world. Whether you are a person of faith, agnostic or atheist, this course is based around discussion, debate, and sharing ideas, and all perspectives are welcome. We will always encourage you to do your own research and form informed responses to the complex questions raised. By giving you vital transferable skills and offering opportunities for work-related learning, we also make sure you are ready for your career.
