Course Overview

The course will support you to develop professional practice competence working with individuals and groups and to undertake critical analysis of key aspects of professional practice and the context for your career. Full-time students are provided with placement and practice opportunities, allowing them to meet the requirements for the PgDip/QCD. Applicants employed in a guidance-related role may complete the program part-time, online. In order to complete the PgDip/QCD, you must be employed for the duration of your studies in a role where you have access to clients and the support of a qualified professional to act as your workplace supervisor.

General Eligibility

Applicants to the full-time PGDip/QCD should normally hold an honours degree in any subject. Applicants to the part-time, online PG Dip/QCD may hold a relevant bachelors degree or equivalent (e.g. a Level 9 Technical Apprenticeship) and significant, relevant work experience.
