Course Overview

If you are working within the optical industry and wish to follow a fast-track path to a masters qualification while working, the three-year MSc Optometry is a good choice. Our blended learning format enables you to embed learning from the on-campus study blocks into your clinical practice. The course combines several week-long blocks of on-campus learning with online materials and questions. Time away from campus is spent in practice, observing, practicing, and advancing the skills and knowledge gained. Teaching is delivered over three semesters, so there are no long gaps between learning - fast-tracking your progress to the MSc qualification.

General Eligibility

Applicants will be a Registered Dispensing Optician with one-year post-registration experience along with passing the entrance exam Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the program and if they have experience Recognition Accreditation of Prior Learning may provide entry into other levels such as partway into Level 7 A detailed admissions procedure will be forwarded on the application
