Course Overview

Delivering healthcare to communities affected by disasters, be they natural or man-made, is an aspect of healthcare that is both demanding and immensely rewarding.€¯This course will see you acquire the specific skills and expertise required to adapt and respond to the needs of communities when they are at their most vulnerable. Designed by medical professionals with experience in disaster and conflict medicine, the course also provides you with the skills required to plan, manage and deliver a medical program under challenging conditions, whilst also considering ethical, legal, and logistical issues.

General Eligibility

Applicants must hold a medically related qualification or have completed the penultimate year of a medical degree or relevant professional qualification Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the program and if they have relevant experience such as armed forces Applicants may be interviewed A detailed admissions procedure will be forwarded on the application IELTS: Score of at least 6.5 or equivalent
