Course Overview

Operating Department Practitioners help respond to the physical and psychological needs of patients in surgery. The course places great emphasis on practical learning so youll get to experience live clinical environments. Working under supervision, you will help with daily duties, learning by observing, shadowing, and practicing. Youll have access to our state-of-the-art clinical skills and anatomy laboratories.

General Eligibility

UCAS: 112 points at A2 BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM BTEC Diploma: D*D* Pass Access Course: 112 UCAS points International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 112 points from Higher Level Subjects IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5 GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent Applicants are required to attend a selection day when they will be interviewed for the course
