A Foundation Entry course is ideal if youve got the ability to study for a degree, but dont have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an honors program. Its a great stepping stone to a full degree. Early on in the course, youll attend a residential team-building activity, so youll get to know staff and students, and develop friendships thatll last throughout your studies. The syllabus covers a range of mathematical topics, including the applications of mathematics in physics and engineering. At the end of your foundation year, and with good grades, you can progress onto the mathematics degree, or onto a degree in physics, astrophysics, or engineering.
