Course Overview

Your first year will be spent developing essential skills alongside students on our other Computing degree courses. After that youll get the opportunity to switch to a more specialized course of your choice or carry on, focusing on your choice of two routes from Business, Internet and Cloud, Networking, Security or Software Development. Well give you lots of opportunities to show off your technical skills and gain vital work experience to boost your employability. Depending on which areas you choose to specialize in, you could pursue a wide range of careers, including analyzing clients business requirements and specifying appropriate IT systems, designing and managing networks, or developing multimedia, databases, or high-performance software. Our graduates are working for major organizations including BAE and NATO. Others have gone on to teach in primary, secondary, further, and higher education.
