Course Overview

Youll get to grips with the policy and systems of service delivery, issues of power and oppression and social justice, as well as community development and human and social needs. Year 3 students choose from a wide range of modules to suit their interests and ambitions, including social enterprise, homelessness, race and ethnicity, mental health, people with learning disabilities, disability studies, youth studies, social pedagogy, crime, and substance misuse. Throughout your studies, theres an emphasis on delivering strength-based practice, viewing clients as resourceful and resilient in the face of adversity.
