Course Overview

On our Chemistry degree course, youll get to explore how the world works. Understanding the chemistry of materials means understanding the drugs that fight disease, the components that power modern tech, the pesticides that protect our crops, and much more besides. Its increasingly important that we also consider how our reliance on chemicals impacts our environment. As well as introducing you to the traditional elements of physical, inorganic, organic and analytical chemistry, we also place a strong emphasis on the new approaches in chemical manufacture that have given rise to so-called €˜Green Chemistry.
