MA Film and Media Production

... United Kingdom
... CANTERBURY CHRIST CHURCH UNIVERSITY

Course Overview

The MA Film and Media Production offers a unique blend of practical production skills, professional knowledge, and academic study as well as opportunities for you to become a researcher in your own right. We have designed the course to be taught through a combination of intensive workshop sessions, online interactive and self-directed teaching, as well as group and individual tutorials. The program provides intensive instruction in sound recording and design, cinematography and camerawork, lighting, non-linear editing, scriptwriting, producing, and directing. The MA Film & Media Production is practically based but it should not be seen only as vocational preparation. It includes an important theoretical component that is related to the practical side of the program; theoretical issues are explored through both practice and in a dedicated theory module.
