Many events now have an international focus and are organized across cultural, economic, and geographical boundaries. Providing a sound theoretical underpinning of the cultural, political, ethical, and economic aspects of the sector, this course will develop the practical and strategic knowledge required to run international events effectively. Guest speakers from the industry will share their expertise and insights through a series of lectures. These events, combined with case studies and field trips, will keep the course contemporary and industry-focused. Studying alongside the UK and overseas students on the course will inspire your learning. You will be encouraged to share your experiences and trade cultural insights with your peers, helping you to refine your understanding of events management across the world so you can excel in your career.
Applicants should either have at least a second class honors degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.
