Specialize in the area of 3D design that inspires your future. This course is informed by research and led by practice and will see you explore contemporary three-dimensional design practice and gain a human insight into diverse design issues. It will allow you to engage in a reflective and iterative process of design development and learning through doing. You will communicate your design ideas through compelling outcomes and develop your transferable skills to work effectively as a designer in real-world settings. Innovative research methods will allow you to gain insights into user needs, economic, environmental, and ethical considerations, and industry capabilities to inform your design outcomes. The importance of iterative modeling processes (making, testing, and improving) will enable you to question, challenge, refine and propose appropriate design solutions that will make a positive contribution to the world around us.
Applicants should either have at least a second class honors degree in the cognate subjects of Art or Design, at least a second class honors degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.
IELTS 6.5 with no skills below 6.0, or an equivalent qualification.
