Course Overview

Quantity surveyors are the cost managers of the construction industry. While studying for a recognized degree, you will learn how quantity surveyors organize, control, and manage the costing of projects, including building economics, contracts and construction law, construction technology, and project management. You will undertake individual and group assessments and develop core skills. With your excellent analytical, arithmetic, and IT abilities, we will help you develop as an innovative team player with the problem-solving and transferable skills needed to succeed. Studying this course will provide you with the confidence and skills that are required in the modern construction industry to tackle difficult contractual situations and negotiations as well as an industry perspective on contemporary issues in the field.
