If English is not your first language, this international foundation year will give you the necessary English language ability and knowledge to study for an undergraduate degree within UK higher education. As part of your course youll: Develop intercultural awareness and self-confidence Work on your communication, maths, research, and study skills Increase skills in presentation, time management, problem-solving, and planning Gain an understanding of British culture and universities through a series of lectures and seminars Well help you improve your study skills through projects, essays, and practical exercises. Youll be assessed by a mixture of coursework and classroom tests in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Academic study to a minimum of GCSE equivalent plus one year of study or work experience is required. Where appropriate, experience and professional qualifications will be considered in place of academic qualifications.
IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.
