Course Overview

If you currently work or volunteer in health and social care and want to enhance your practice and career prospects, this is your opportunity to extend your knowledge of the sector and refine your clinical expertise. You will explore the context of your practice against a backdrop of changing local, national, and political drivers. You will be encouraged to analyze your decision-making and to reflect on your current practice, helping you to generate new ideas for use in your current role and for the benefit of patients and service users.

General Eligibility

Applicants should either have an HND, Foundation degree or an equivalent award of 120 level 5 credit points in the cognate subjects of Health Care, Nursing (Acute and Community), Health and Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech, and Language Therapy, Dietetics or Radiography or an award in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for. Applicants who do not meet this academic requirement are advised to undertake the Professional Profile Development module in order to apply for recognition of prior (experiential) learning.
