Course Overview

If English is not your first language, this subject-specific international foundation year will give you the necessary English language ability and expertise to study an undergraduate degree in hospitality business management within UK higher education. As part of your course, you will: Gain an understanding of British culture and universities through a series of lectures and seminars Develop intercultural awareness and self-confidence Work on your communication, maths, research, and study skills Increase skills in presentation, time management, problem-solving, and planning Discover some of the fundamental principles of hospitality business management Learn to transform practice, think critically, and have the confidence to implement innovative ideas We will help you improve your study skills through projects, essays, and practical exercises. You will be assessed by a mixture of coursework and classroom tests in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
