Being delivered from within the Department of Music, Media, and Performance allows production students to work with music students as part of a close-knit, thriving, cooperative, and creative music community. Chester has a strong local music scene with close ties to the Department, as well as being well located for access to bigger cities such as Manchester and Liverpool.
Alongside recording, production, and the study of popular music, students have the opportunity to focus on live music technology, music theory, and songwriting and composition.
We have recently made a significant investment in our music production equipment, ensuring that our extensive facilities are equipped with the very latest technology to provide students with an outstanding learning experience.
Benefit from exceptional recording studios, iMac labs, skilled technical staff, and extensive equipment loan provision.
