As part of this course, youll: Develop the range of skills youll need to be able to undertake construction management positions Study the legal, financial, and economic environments in which the industry operates Understand the other professions involved in building Gain an overview of the whole construction process, including surveying, quantity surveying, and architectural technology Learn to use commercial awareness and professional managerial knowledge in managing contracts within specified quality, cost, and schedule boundaries Understand responsibilities associated with managing site operations, including those concerning the commissioners of development, direct employees, subcontractors, the public, and agents of regulatory and other authorities
