Course Overview

The Department of Marketing at Strathclyde is recognised as one of the leading centres of marketing education and research in the UK.

This course will help you develop the skills for various marketing and management careers. You’ll understand customer requirements, added-value products and services and the role of communications in customer satisfaction.

This degree will prepare you for leadership roles in this dynamic industry which generates £5 billion for the Scottish economy and creates one in 10 jobs. You’ll have the skills to manage operations and business across various sectors, including hospitality, tourism and events.

On graduating, you may be able to apply for membership in professional bodies such as the Institute of Hospitality, the Institute of Travel & Tourism, the Tourism Society or the Royal Geographical Society.
