The Masters' course covers topics such as how to assess project feasibility, how to manage risks in projects, how to keep people working together, and how to develop a portfolio of projects. Theres no need to have completed previous studies in project management and we welcome applicants from a variety of academic backgrounds. The course is also available through distance learning or full-time with advanced practice. This MSc Project Management program has successfully attained academic accreditation by the Association for Project Management (APM). The APM, through its academic accreditation process, assesses programs and modules to help students and professionals choose the best education available in support of their project management careers. Our APM Academic Accreditation identifies that the MSc Project Management program at Northumbria University is aligned to the APM Body of Knowledge, 6th edition.
A minimum of a 2:2 honors degree in any subject. Other subject qualifications, equivalent professional qualifications, and/or relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*).
