Course Overview

You will be supported by a diverse and extremely well-qualified range of research-active staff. All our staff is currently employed in Education, giving you access to the most up to date knowledge, gained through practical experience. You will enjoy the opportunity to collaborate with peers from the sector, to create a body of new and emerging knowledge. This Education MA is relevant to all educational sectors and contexts, from schools to further and higher education. Research supported by critical inquiry and discourse will extend, develop and enhance your ability to analyze, evaluate and judge the underlying assumptions surrounding educational policy and practice. This course is offered as the core to our MA Education suite, if you are interested in focusing on a particular area then you may wish to graduate with a bracketed specialism. Look at our MA Education Leadership and Management if you are keen to develop your skills in a business or corporate context, Special educational needs, and disability for those looking to work with vulnerable learners, and Teaching and Learning for those working in an educational setting such as a school or college. General Eligibility

A minimum of a 2:2 honors degree or an equivalent qualification such as a Certificate in Education (Cert Ed). Other professional qualifications and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
