Are you looking for a Masters-level qualification that will open doors to jobs and promotions in the field of data analytics? This two-year masters course combines core modules in information science with specialized modules in Database Modelling as well as Statistics and Business Intelligence. As part of the focus on data analytics, you will cover topics such as how to design and manipulate databases with relational algebra and SQL. You will also analyze (big) data in order to improve organizational decision-making, using techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, distance measures, probability, and distributions. In the second year, for one semester, you will have the chance to study in another country or join a research group. This valuable experience will enhance your employability and further develop your theoretical and practical skills.
A minimum of a 2:2 honors degree in any subject. Other subject qualifications, equivalent professional qualifications, and/or relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*).
