Course Overview

This inspiring, varied sports science degree enables students to explore the impact of sport and exercise science on optimizing athletes’ performance in competitive sports and exercise. It addresses the importance of sports and exercise scientists in preparing athletes for the competitive environment. It looks specifically at how they can significantly impact maximizing performance outcomes, highlighting just how rewarding a sports science career can be.

The course prepares sport and exercise graduates to work effectively in this challenging and demanding industry by studying the core disciplines of sport and exercise physiology, psychology, biomechanics, and technique analysis.

General Eligibility

Three A-levels at grades BBC or above

Or BTEC triple grades DMM or above

Or Access 30-42 with 18D

And GCSE English Language at grade 4 or grade C or above

Non-traditional learners are encouraged to apply, and we will consider their work experience and ability to work at this level.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

• IELTS for UKVI - Minimum of 6.0 in each category

  LanguageCert International ESOL SELT B2 (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) - Minimum of 33/50 in each category

  PTE Academic UKVI - Minimum of 59 in each category

  Skills for English UKVI B2 (4 components) - Pass in each category
