You gain an understanding and knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, including analogue and digital electronics, microprocessors, embedded systems, design, modelling, coding, communication systems, electrical machines and power systems.

General Eligibility

  • Any combination of recognised Level 3 qualifications. Each application is considered on a case-by-case basis. We look for evidence of your learning ability and commitment to succeed in your studies.

  • Maths

  • GCSE maths grade 4+, or equivalent.

  • International students needing a visa to study in the UK should check our web pages on English language requirements.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • English language competence is required. The general entry criteria for this course are International English Language Test System (IELTS) 5.5 or Test of English as a Foreign Language Cambridge English scale 162
