Course Overview

Our LLB (Hons) Law course is a qualifying law degree, forming an essential part of the training you need to become a barrister or a solicitor. The course will equip you with a broad understanding of key legal principles and institutions within the political, social, economic, and cultural context in which the law operates. Youll learn how the law is made and administered and explore the inter-relationships between the law, individuals, and society. We give you the opportunity to build on this knowledge with a wide choice of 16 optional modules in your final year. And youll also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in our acclaimed community Legal Advice Centre, working with local solicitors to provide a law clinic for the general public.
