Course Overview

Designed to prepare you for a range of career opportunities in the creative business sector, our BA/BSc Business, and Management course will equip you with the practical skills, entrepreneurial attributes, and industry experience required to make an immediate impact on global business organizations. Based on techniques that have produced world-leading creative professionals in a sector that is undergoing substantial growth, each unit of the course will prepare you for a range of career opportunities in the creative business sector and you'll have the opportunity to specialize in one of five areas: Fashion Industry, Games Industry, Music Industry, Cosmetics and Beauty Industry, and Lifestyle Industries. In Year 1, youll be introduced to the fundamentals of marketing, finance, and accounting, and learn about project and operations management. Youll also understand the importance of management and organization behaviors and learn about launching your own enterprise. As well as developing knowledge and skills in e-commerce, youll gain an understanding of law within the creative industries in your second year, as well as an international business practice. Youll develop your own business management style and ideally undertake a work placement.

General Eligibility

Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (Level 3 or 4) Distinction, Merit, Merit at BTEC Extended Diploma Merit at UAL Extended Diploma 112 new UCAS tariff points from an accredited Access to Higher Education Diploma in appropriate subject 27-30 total points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma with at least 15 IB points at Higher level, see more information about IB entry requirements. And four GCSE passes at grade A*-C and/or grade 4-9 including English (or Functional Skills English/Key Skills Communication Level 2).
