Course Overview

The course is designed with your career in mind; the Institute of Hospitality accredits it, and you'll benefit from placements, field trips and guest lectures held with industry leaders. 

UEL is conveniently located a short walk from London City Airport and some of the capital's most famous venues - including the Excel Centre and O2 Arena - and learning in London gives you access to some of the best hotels, restaurants and visitor attractions in the world.

General Eligibility

Accepted Qualifications

112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the

UCAS tariff calculator, including:

• A Level in at least two subjects

• BTEC Extended Diploma - DMM

• BTEC Diploma – D*D*

• Access to HE Diploma

• T Levels

• International Baccalaureate – 24 points, including a minimum of 15 points at a Higher Level

We also welcome applications from students taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator and will assess the suitability on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to one of the above, you should have the following:

• GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English

• GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).
