You gain a creative and technical understanding of events production, audience experience and approaches to the creation of artistic content for immersive experiences, learning how to apply immersive technologies to creative productions.
The course offers a unique combination of content in site-specific virtual sets and production design, games development and production, and immersive digital technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality. Project-based learning allows you to experiment with early prototypes and work-in-progress showings. A range of underpinning theories and models steer the content of creative immersive work towards a real engagement with a new type of audience, viewer, gamer or participant.
At least a 2.2 UK honours degree in a creative discipline, or equivalent.
20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.
The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
