The Archaeology MA has six specialist pathways and a generic route to suit your individual needs, background, and career aspirations: Prehistoric Archaeology Classical Archaeology: Greek and Roman Roman Frontier Studies Late Antique, Medieval and Byzantine Archaeology Historical Archaeology Artifacts and Technologies We encourage you to gain archaeological experience outside of your course whilst part of our archaeology community. Opportunities may be limited due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, however, we hope more opportunities will become available as it becomes safe for them to open up. Staff carries out a wide range of archaeological projects and past students often participate in these whenever the opportunity presents itself.
A 2:1 honors degree, or an international equivalent, in archaeology. A 2:1 honors degree in any other subject will be considered alongside a personal statement.
IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and 5.5 in all other sub-skills).
