This accredited course will equip you with an in-depth understanding of the digital systems at the heart of modern technology. You'll develop a strong understanding of electrical machines and communications systems, before focusing on specialist digital communication topics, including digital systems design and mobile and cellular communication. You'll also complete an individual design project, which is an opportunity for you to showcase your skills to future employers. Recent projects include energy harvesting in wireless communication networks and digital radio interfaces. In your final year, you'll undertake an industrial project, working on a real engineering project set by your host company in the UK or abroad. This will allow you to gain vital experience, enhance your CV and build valuable contacts within the industry.
