Our Human Resource Management MA course aims to extend your understanding of business and personnel and the impact their management can have on successful organisations. The management and development of human resources is a challenging task in any organisation. As the rapid pace of technological change continues, markets expand internationally and legislation becomes increasingly complex, the need to ensure both businesses and their personnel adapt accordingly has become ever more important. This Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) accredited course is designed for those who want to pursue senior level careers in human resource management (HRM). Please see the Accreditation and Professional Recognition section for further details. We aim to cover the essential theoretical knowledge, intellectual frameworks and practical skills required by todays employers in a range of business contexts. This is supported by opportunities to learn from guest speakers drawn from the HR profession (subject to availability) and study in an internationally diverse environment.
Applicants should hold a business related honours degree at 2:2 or equivalent.
This course requires an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5. Pre-sessional English is available if required.
