Course Overview

Interested in how countries are governed and decisions made? Interested in what shapes foreign policies and how national and international political events and practices impact people locally? Interested in how social movements impact politics globally? Then Politics and International Relations should appeal to you. The course includes a range of modules on British, American, European, African, and Middle Eastern politics and provides you with a deeper understanding of the rationale and value of peaceful and cooperative relations between nations and people. It also teaches you how the world is becoming increasingly more connected and how this impacts governments and their agencies, multinational companies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and you.
