The BA (Hons) Esports focuses on the business of esports. You'll learn everything required to host small- and large-scale events, including developing skills for single-player and multi-player team events. You can create business plans to build teams, form online communities, and promote events through digital marketing. You'll also explore the culture of esports, its audience and fan base, and a variety of the most popular current game genres. As the sector grows, the ethical and legislative regulations are trying to keep pace, and you'll learn how these issues affect the esports environment.
You will benefit from a mixture of theoretical input and the links between theory and practice to ensure the relevance of your studies to employability. This means you'll develop solid business principles alongside contemporary sector knowledge and plenty of hands-on experience working in areas related to your field of study.
