Course Overview

With a practical emphasis on the latest sports science, youll learn about psychology, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, strength, and conditioning, and performance analysis to help you give future sports stars the winning edge. Youll also learn about health issues from internationally acknowledged experts, giving you the real-world experience to qualify for public health roles. With access to sports laboratory and testing equipment in our specialist sport and teaching facility, this is a course that focuses on practical hands-on training to set you up for a career in sports science.

General Eligibility

128 UCAS Tariff points From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent.
