Course Overview

This intensive course is your fast-track route to becoming a Social Worker registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Youll balance an interactive study program with practical work experience in a social care setting. Youll be able to practice in your chosen field of children and families or adults, and across a range of areas €“ including statutory, voluntary, private, and the independent sector. On the course, your learning experience will be dynamic, interactive, and experiential. Youll learn about all areas of social work practice with adults and children €“ acquiring your knowledge with a variety of learning styles. With an emphasis on experiential learning, your studies will include working in small tutorial groups, simulations, role-play, and group work.

General Eligibility

At least a 2.2 honors degree equivalent in this subject area.
