Course Overview

At Roehampton, youll study a full spectrum of topics within psychology, learning to think and write like a psychologist and work alongside criminologists to study crime, the criminal justice system and society's response to the impact of criminal behavior. On this course, youll develop an understanding of how the brain and nervous system affect and are affected by behavior, how we perceive information, communicate, learn and think, as well as a critical understanding of how the criminal justice system operates and the relationship between punishments and crime prevention. After you graduate, youll be ready to succeed in whatever career you choose to pursue. Modules are based on practical applications, allowing you to critically analyze and apply psychological and criminological theories. Youll learn to evaluate evidence, communicate effectively, analyze data, and work within different teams.

General Eligibility

1. passes in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Level; 2. a pass in one subject at GCE Advanced Level plus (a) passes in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level, or (b) a Vocational A-Level Single Award, or (c) two Vocational A-Level part Awards; 3. a Vocational A-Level Double Award; or 4. a Vocational A-Level Single Award plus (a) two Vocational A-Level part Awards, or (b) passes in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level; or 5. a BTEC National Certificate or Diploma; or 6. a Scottish Certificate of Education with (a) passes in five subjects, including at least three at Higher grade, or (b) passes in four subjects all at Higher grade or New Higher grade; or 7. the full Diploma of the International Baccalaureate; or 8. an Irish Leaving Certificate with passes in four subjects at Grade C at the Higher level.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

  • 1. GCSE requirement: Maths, Grade C 2.IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component
