At Roehampton, youll study a full spectrum of topics within psychology, learning to think and write like a psychologist and work alongside criminologists to study crime, the criminal justice system and society's response to the impact of criminal behavior. On this course, youll develop an understanding of how the brain and nervous system affect and are affected by behavior, how we perceive information, communicate, learn and think, as well as a critical understanding of how the criminal justice system operates and the relationship between punishments and crime prevention. After you graduate, youll be ready to succeed in whatever career you choose to pursue. Modules are based on practical applications, allowing you to critically analyze and apply psychological and criminological theories. Youll learn to evaluate evidence, communicate effectively, analyze data, and work within different teams.
