Studying history at the University of Gloucestershire is centered on understanding the making of the modern world by analyzing the past. Taught by subject specialists in British, European, American, and Russian history, youll explore some of the fundamental issues, events, and ideas that have shaped the past since the 15th century. Our degree is particularly focused on how the past can be understood through lenses of race, class, and gender, and how historical interpretations are expressed through contemporary popular culture and memory.
