This course encompasses both prevention and promotion and recognizes the importance of social determinants of health. It will support you to develop the skills required to address existing and emerging public health challenges locally, nationally, and internationally. It will also provide you with a professional qualification that will develop your understanding of this complex field. You will strengthen, enhance and improve your career prospects, and be empowered to make a valuable contribution to improving health and wellbeing. Students on the existing program come from a wide range of disciplines including public health, physiotherapy, dietetics, third sector, nursing and midwifery, oncology, and occupational health.
Applicants normally hold an undergraduate degree/honors degree or its equivalent in a relevant subject, such as health or sports and exercise science
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
